My Name is Noah Lamaide. I am 12 yrs old. Each year I do a community service project in the hopes of helping others in need. I have been blessed with wonderful Family & Friends. Unfortunately not everyone is so lucky. This is the reason I chose to start Noah's Dream Catcher Network. I want to help others and make a difference in the world by asking people to reach out and help each other.

My Focus Going forward with my work
Thank you to all who have sent me emails and supported me. I never expected to get all the media attention. I have been speaking with many people and with my parents. I need to pick a focus to go forward with. I wish I could help every person who has emailed me but I realize I can't. I have to pick a focus and I have decided to go forward helping adults who have terminal illness with children. I have found many websites for children to get a last dream but not many for adults. If my mom or dad was very ill I would want a last HAPPY memory with them. I will go forward with my work trying to help as many children get a last HAPPY memory (DREAM) with an ill parent. Thank you to the many people who have offered to help me. All donations from this point will go to fund those dreams.

Hi Friends,
I want to help someone who is very dear to me for my next dream... My Grandma has fallen on hard times and is going to loose her home. My Grandma incase you don't know her has a heart of gold. She has given so much to our community since I can remember!!! She has done Foster Care ever since I was born and has helped 100's of children who would not have had a safe place to stay in the middle of the night when their own parents were not able to care for them. Her home will go for auction on Feb 15th. Please help me save her home so the kids of Portage Cty in need still have a place to go that is safe!! I want to give her her home back for Valentine's Day!! I need to rasie $10,000 by the end of Jan to help her. It seems like sooo much money but if I have 400 friends who can spare $25.00 I can give her this gift!! Only 200 friends if they give $50.00. I want to thank all the people for the nice emails and cards. I have gotten emails from all over the world. I hope my story will inspire other kids and communities to work together. I hope to start a new project very soon.

Noah has had many help requests pour in since his story went on the national news. At this time he does not have the money to fund another big project. He went public with his story hoping others would follow his example and turn to each other and their communities to lend a helping hand. If you are in need Noah would like to suggest you follow his plan. Break down your goal amount, start with your friends and ask each person to donate a small amount. As you can see from his story it can work and there is hope.

I challenge each kid who comes to my site to volunteer. If you don't have money to give then give of your time. It makes you feel good to help someone. Kids put away your video games for one day a month and help someone. You will be glad you did and it will make you feel good. God’s instruction that we should serve others is unmistakable in Scripture. It’s not a choice that we’re given. It’s a command. God charges us to reach out to those in need – in our neighborhoods, schools, and workplaces, in our cities and nation, and around the world.
In fact, God issues a specific call that we are to especially look out for “the least, the last, and the lost” – the marginalized and disadvantaged in our society. The widows, the orphans, the sick and the poor.
Did you know that there are over 2,000 verses in the Bible that deal with God’s view on justice & poverty? Verses like this one:
“Stand up for the poor and the orphan; advocate for the rights of the afflicted and those in need.” Psalm 82:3 (The Voice)

The project I am currently working on is to raise enough funds to send my friend Kim (10) to Disney World with her Mom. Kim's Mom has terminal cancer and her Moms wish is to take Kim to Disney World before it’s too late. Please help me make her dream come true.

Past projects I have worked on before my website was started include for my 8th Birthday I had all my friends bring a gift for Operation Bootstrap(local food pantry) instead of a gift for myself. My friends and I filled 4 carts full of food & other needed items for the food pantry.
I had a charity rummage/bake sale to rasie money for a picnic for the Veterns At King.
